A Non-Toxic, Environmentally Safe Fire Retardant
For outdoor use on untreated wood and wood products.
IMP-HBG is a ready to use fire retardant solution that is a water base non-toxic product. It is based on a nitrogen-phosphorus-synergism. It is a light yellow color but dries almost transparent and is odorless.
IMP-HBG was designed to be applied to untreated wood that is used in outdoor applications. Woods such as Western Red Cedar, Pine, Oak, Maple, Ash, Meranti, Merbau, Southern Pine, Bamboo, other hardwoods, MDF, plywood, chipboard and other types of easily absorbent wood siding. After treatment the wood can be painted. IMP-HBG comes with 4-5 year warranty.* When applied correctly the most severe national and international standards can be achieved such as: Standard-NF P 92 501 – CLASS-M1-M2-M3; NEN 6065/6066 – 1-2-3; BS 476 part 7 – 1-2-3; DIN 4102-B1-B2; NBN S 21-20 – A1-A2-A3
The quantity to be applied depends upon the required standard and the type of wood. Drying can take place naturally or with the use of special drying rooms.
All types of untreated wood and board materials can be treated by dipping or the spray method. The special compounds in IMP-HBG have an excellent penetrating capacity. IMP-HBG can also be applied during the construction phase but before any other coating is applied to the wood to be treated.
IMP-HBG has a neutral ph value, is non-toxic and does not irritate the skin or eyes; as such it is very environmentally friendly and extremely user friendly.
Unopened it can be stored for a year or longer.

Warranty:*
*IMP-HBG comes with a 4 year warranty when applied professionally by certified applicators. After 4 years a certified applicator can test the product to be sure the weather or harsh chemicals have not hindered the products effectiveness. If it is still performing properly the warranty can be extended another year. If not or after the 5th year, if warranty is extended, IMP-HBG can be easily reapplied.
