IMP-TN

A Non-Toxic, Environmentally Safe Fire Retardant

For use with 100% cotton and mixed fabrics made out of 65% Synthetic and 35% natural fibers.

IMP-TN is a ready to use, harmless, colorless and odorless water based solution, based on a nitrogen-phosphorus formula to make textiles fire retardant. Intended for all natural, easily absorbent materials such as linen, cotton, textiles, cellulose, decorations and mixed textiles that have a minimum of 35% natural easily absorbent fibers. IMP-TN along with all the other BurnstopUSA formulas has a ph that is neutral.

IMP-TN fire retardant can be quickly absorbed by materials. After drying the material, the active ingredients remain behind and make the fabric fire retardant.

When the correct quantity of IMP-TN is used there is no detrimental effect on the properties of the material. It does not cause any mildew or saline sediment. The fabric color is not affected and it retains its original hand.

IMP-TN is very user friendly; being non-toxic it does not irritate skin or eyes. The ph value of the product is neutral. It is safe for humans, animals and aquatic life.

IMP-TN is used to make curtains, carpet, decors, exhibition booths/stand materials and everyday clothes fire retardant. Textile manufacturers and commercial cleaning services use this formula to treat their product before delivery to consumers.

IMP-TN can be applied through spraying, dipping or foularding. After treatment the materials can dry naturally or mechanically.

Depending upon the material to be treated, one gallon of IMP-TN will treat approximately 48 sq. yds of material. If the material is washed after treatment it is necessary to retreat the material again to remain fire retardant.

IMP-TN can be purchased in quantities ranging from gallon size for residential use to large containers for industrial use. Unopened it can be stored for up to a year or longer.
